Our Referral Process
We accept referrals from a range of professionals and individuals who are involved in supporting a young person’s education and wellbeing. Our aim is to make the process as simple and accessible as possible, ensuring every learner receives the right support at the right time.
1. Complete the Referral Form
Submit your referral using our online form or by emailing us directly. The more detail you can provide, the better we can understand the learner’s needs from the outset.
2. Initial Consultation
Once we receive your referral, we arrange a consultation with the referrer. Here, we discuss the young person’s background, needs, goals and expected outcomes, and determine whether our provision is the right fit.
3. Assessment & Risk Review
Our team carries out a thorough assessment, including risk considerations, safeguarding needs and any additional support requirements. This allows us to create a safe, appropriate and fully informed plan.
4. Placement Plan
If the learner is accepted, we develop a tailored mentoring and/or tuition plan. This includes session frequency, location, specific targets, strategies and any additional interventions that may be required.
5. Ongoing Support & Monitoring
Throughout the placement, we provide regular communication, progress updates, attendance tracking and review meetings. We work collaboratively with schools, families and professionals to ensure every learner is supported and making positive progress.
